A name identified on a computer in the internet is a domain name. It also known as a host name. The domain names are known to be stolen just to cash in on your web identity. The people who steal usually benefit by having the same name and confusing your clients and taking your hard-earned business from you are Cyber Squatters.
If you have registered your Domain Name at domain Name.com, they will register the same name at Domain Name.biz or domain Name.org or will have the similar name to confuse your clients and will contact you to buy the same name at a premium price. If you do not buy the same, they will threaten to sell it to your competitor at a much higher price, which will affect your business and clients.
Squatter is usually a person or being that is using the place, or space without owning and do not have the permission to use it. However, Cyber Squatters are a bit different from these as most of them pay for the similar name or similar sounding names. They usually do this to earn money out of you and cash in on the name you have made in the business. To spoil your image they can also put some remarks about your company or the name, which will compel you to buy the domain Name at a higher price.
From the beginning get the rights and authorization similar to your names and register them along with your main Domain.
